As year comes to an end, Season 1 of the online qualification for the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2017 has wrapped up, too. The best players from the three qualification zones (Europe, Americas and Rest of World) took the opportunity to qualify for the EA SPORTS™ Ultimate Team Regional Qualifiers in Paris, Miami and Sydney respectively at the first time of asking – the next steps on their way to the Grand Final in London.
Several big names of the European FIFA eSports scene have already managed to secure their place at the live qualification event in the L’Olympia in Paris – among them is FIWC14 Champion August Rosenmeier. The Dane, who has recently been signed by French football club Paris Saint-Germain’s eSports division, won the DreamHack Winter tournament in Sweden and with it a ticket to Paris.
