RHI scandal: Belfast City Council supports call for public inquiry

Image caption Former DUP councillor Ruth Patterson, who was expelled from the party in 2015, said the public were seriously concerned by the “financial squander” in the RHI scheme Belfast City Council has passed a motion calling on the government to hold a full public inquiry into Stormont"s "cash-for-ash" scandal.
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme, set up in 2012 by the now First Minister and DUP leader Arlene Foster, is set to run £490m over its budget.
The motion, proposed by former DUP councillor Ruth Patterson, was passed by 23 votes in favour to 12 against.
The UK government has already rejected an Alliance call for a public inquiry.

Telegram no longer supports Android 2.2, 2.3, and 3.0

Popular messaging app Telegram has quietly ended support for some older Android versions. A quick look at the FAQ section on the service"s website reveals that only Android 4.0 and up are now supported, meaning versions 2.2, 2.3, and 3.0 are no longer welcome.
The reason behind the move hasn"t been officially revealed, but it"s be reasonable to assume that the step has been taken to smoothly update the app with new features that require a newer level of API that comes with the new releases.
Those using the now unsupported Android versions have an option to use the service"s Web version.

Media Streaming Company Plex has announced that their Cloud Sync feature – that allows you to sync content from your library to a cloud storage provider – now supports Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft OneDrive.
The announcement came in the form of a Reddit post from the Plex Cloud team. “We’ve made managing your media in the Cloud more flexible by allowing you to link multiple Cloud storage providers, so you can create libraries with content from any of them,” the team said.
Following are the steps that you need to take in order to add or change cloud storage providers:
Log in to Plex Web and click on your user icon in the upper right corner, then click Account. Click Plex Cloud in the menu on the left of the Account page. Link, unlink, or reauthorize any cloud storage providers you have, as appropriate. Your linked Cloud storage providers will be available as file location choices when adding or editing a library.
