The Asus Zenfone Zoom – which launched in the US back in February this year – has received a nice price cut. A couple of retailers – B&H Photo and Newegg – have the phone (GSM version) listed on their websites for just under $200.
That translates into a discount of nearly $200 given that the handset carried a launch price tag of $399 in the US. Amazon also has the phone listed for less than its launch price, but the discount it"s offering is around $150.
The Zenfone Zoom – which is claimed to be the “thinnest phone with 3x optical zoom” – was announced way back at last year"s CES. It finally went on sale in December 2015, with Taiwan becoming the first country where it was available for purchase.
