Super Mario Run coming soon to Android

Those waiting for Super Mario Run on Android are about to get their prayers answered. The game has landed on the Play Store, although for nowit is only available for pre-registration. All this does is alert you when the game is available for download. There is no information on when the game will actually be available for download.
Super Mario Run released on iOS earlier this month to a lot of fanfare. The first proper game from Nintendo for the mobile platform, it shot to the top of the most downloaded lists on the App Store around the world. Eventually people realized that the game isn"t what they were expecting and the $10 purchase price after the first three levels was also hard pill to swallow for many, which resulted in a flurry of 1 star reviews. It still remains a popular title on the App Store.
It"s likely that the Android version of the game will be identical in every way, including the pricing. At least this time customers will be aware of what they are getting ..

Nintendo breaks App Store record with Super Mario Run

Nintendo has issued a press release that confirms what everybody already knew; Super Mario Run is a big success. The company confirmed that the game was downloaded over 40 million times in the first four days, which broke the previous App Store record set by Nintendo"s other property, Pokémon GO.
Apart from being downloaded like crazy, Super Mario Run is also the top ranking app in the "Free" category in 140 different markets around the world and, more importantly, among the top 10 in the "Top Grossing" list in 100 markets on the App Store.
This is hardly a surprise for multiple reasons. It is the first game Nintendo made by itself for the mobile platform, which also happened to be based on Nintendo"s favorite cash cow, Super Mario. Second, Nintendo"s partnership with Apple also seems to have paid off well, with a lot of marketing for the game by Apple and, for the first time in App Store history, every single App Store slide tiles featuring the sam..

Super Mario Run breaks record for most-launch-day downloads in App Store history

According to App analytics firm Apptopia Nintendo’s first official Mario game for any mobile platform has been downloaded a whopping 2.85 million times in the first day of launch and is on its way to break Pokemon Go’s record for the most first-week downloads on the App Store.
That number bested another Nintendo Title, Pokemon Go, which now holds the #2 spot for the most downloaded app on the first day of launch. With a number of 900,000 downloads (according to the same App analytics firm), Pokemon Go did not gather as many downloads as Super Mario Run, however that’s due to Pokemon Go’s initial launch for only a select number of regions whereas Super Mario Run launched in 150 countries on the first day.
Super Mario Run was first announced at Apple’s iPhone keynote as Nintendo’s first Mario game for mobile platforms. The game is free to download and the first three levels are free to play. To unlock the rest of the levels, a one-time purchase of $9.99 unlocks them all with no ads (ev..
