76% of Apple"s mobile devices are now running iOS 10

Apple has released its latest iOS adoption numbers, revealing that the version 10 of its mobile operating system now powers 76% of compatible devices.
That"s a rise of 13% compared to the last time these figures were released, which happened in November. In October, the adoption rate stood at 60%. Coming to other versions, iOS 9"s share now stands at 18%, while earlier iOS versions claim just a 6% share.
The Cupertino-based company recently rolled out iOS version 10.2, which brought along a host of changes, including over 100 new emoji as well as new wallpapers and iMessage screen effects. A new TV app, as well as changes related to the Emergency SOS feature, Music app, and Camera app were included as well.

Motorola Moto X Style running Android 7.1.1 Nougat spotted on GFXBench

After the Motorola Moto X Play running Android 7.1 Nougat was spotted on GFXBench a couple of weeks ago, the Moto X Style with Android 7.1.1 has appeared on the benchmarking website as well, suggesting that the update is currently under testing and might be rolled out soon.
Sadly, there is still no information on which of the two devices will get Nougat first, and more importantly, exactly when. So far, Motorola has rolled out the Nougat update to its Moto Z and Moto G (4th Gen) smartphones, which is inline with the company"s roll out plans.

New Lenovo Yoga Book version running Chrome OS will debut next year

The Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1 was unveiled at IFA this summer and it managed to instantly turn heads thanks to its unique design that"s devoid of a traditional physical keyboard. Instead, it comes with a pressure-sensitive surface where they keyboard should be, which you can use as a keyboard, but it"s also possible to jot down notes and stuff on it using the Real Pen stylus.
So far Lenovo has been selling the Yoga Book with either Windows 10 or Android preinstalled, but starting in 2017 there will be a third option – a Yoga Book running Chrome OS. This was confirmed by Jeff Meredith, Lenovo"s vice president and general manager of the Android and Chrome Computing Business Group.
Apparently the company saw a lot of interest for such a device, and it"s started working on it. For now there are no exact release details (or pricing information), but it"s at least good to know that a Chrome OS powered Yoga Book is in fact coming. Meredith said the Real Pen stylus wil..
