Asus Zenfone 3 owners, it"s time to update your beloved device to Android 7.0 Nougat. Asus is ready with the software update and it"s available in the Philippines, but will surely spread to more countries in the coming hours and days.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update adds the Multiwindow support for launching two apps at the same time. Battery life should see improvement, too, as the enhanced Doze battery saving feature is also debuting with Nougat.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) trying out Android 7.0 Nougat over at Geekbench

The 2016 Galaxy A series was promised an update to 7.0 Nougat and a version of the software is already under testing – a Galaxy A5 (2016) posted a score to the Geekbench database running Android 7.0.
Note that this was the version with an Exynos 7580 Octa chipset, something that may have an effect on timing (the A5 2016 model is also available with a Snapdragon 615 chipset).
We poked around to see if any other phones of the 2016 A lineup put in a score. The most recent results we found were still on 6.0.1. Still, Samsung will probably release the upadte for all devices at once, that’s how it updated them to 6.0 Marshmallow after all.

Although Google released Android 7.1.1 Nougat for its Pixels and Nexus devices last month, the Motorola Nexus 6 was left out from the initial rollout. The Motorola Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphones finally started receiving the Nougat update last month. While the update has only being rolling out in Asia so far, the company has now revealed that the European units will be getting it this month.

Huawei launches Honor 5C Nougat beta program

Huawei has launched a Nougat beta program for its Honor 5C smartphone. The program is currently only available to users in India, where the Chinese company has started recruiting beta testers.
There will be two beta batches, with the first one comprising of 50 users who"ll be testing the first release, and the second one comprising of 100 users who"ll be testing the second beta release.

Samsung begins seeding Nougat to a small batch of Galaxy S7 units

Good news for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge owners. Today Samsung began the soak test of Android 7 Nougat update and a small number of phones are getting it right now.
