Microsoft releases Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15002 for PC

Microsoft has released the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15002 for PC, which comes with a whole bunch of new features and improvements.
For starters, Edge gets some new features, such as tab previews, better tab organization, additional shortcuts to Taskbar icon, click-to-run for Flash content, Payment Request API for web payments, and improved performance.
Next there are some improvements to Windows Start and Shell. The Start menu now gets folder support, there is now a new Share sheet that automatically populates with the apps you use, you can press Win + Shift + S to capture a region of your screen and copy it to the clipboard, there is now improved high-DPI support for all apps, window resizes will now have smoother animations, desktop icons size and placement will not change when you switch between different resolution monitors or a projector, VPN access is now simplified, Lunar calendar support has been added to the Taskbar, and improved notifications for users and developer..

Two Windows 10-powered Samsung tablets rumored for CES 2017

According to a new rumor, Samsung will launch a couple of Windows 10-powered tablets at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. One of the tablet will carry the model number SM-W720, the other will be SM-W620.

Game Mode coming soon on Windows 10

Windows 10 quickly made gamer fans thanks to perks like DirectX12. Now a new report has it the OS will become even more game-friendly.
According to Microsoft tipster WalkingCat, the latest build of Windows 10 (14997) has a DLL file named “gamemode.dll”. Of course this doesn’t mean that such feature is ready but he already voiced opinions about such mode months ago.
It appears as if the mode will allow Windows to adjust resources allocated to the CPU and graphics card to prioritize games giving better framerates. According to sources the mode will work much like Xbox One’s handling of a game – all the resources are working for the currently running window.
Launch date is not announced yet since and there hasn’t even been testing reported. If such feature is available it could mean that users would have another reason to switch from Windows 7, something that Microsoft is fighting for in the last two years.

Windows 10 Creators Update will let you pause updates from being installed for up to 35 days

If you have Windows 10 on your computer, you"re probably not loving what Microsoft has done with the way its OS handles updates. Namely, the fact that you can"t choose when to have new updates installed – the process is as automatic as it gets. In fact, the Windows 10 Creators Update that"s coming out for free in March will let you “pause updates” for up to 35 days at a time. This has been revealed by people who are currently running a leaked pre-release build of the Creators Update, and have spotted a new entry in the Advanced Options menu for Windows Update Settings.
