Specifically, Samsung Gulf and Samsung Taiwan have the device listed on their respective websites. As for price, the handset carries a tag of around $490 in the UAE, and the pricing should be similar in Taiwan as well.
In October, the phone showed up on India"s import and export tracking website Zauba, hinting at an imminent launch in the country. But since then, there has been no news on that front.

Samsung will update once more its Galaxy Note7 in Korea, the company said. It has recalled 94% of devices worldwide but the Asian country stays as the market with least returns.
Last month Samsung capped the Note7 batteries to 0% and basically bricked the handsets in Russia, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines and such update is currently deployed in United States. In Europe the cap is at 30%.
Samsung already ended its refund program in the end of 2016 but according to sources the manufacturer is going to offer Note7 buyers 50% discount for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8.
We are still waiting for the official report from Samsung what actually caused fire to the Galaxy Note7 devices. Rumors say it was a hardware design and not really the battery.

Samsung now plans to remotely kill remaining Note7 units in Korea

Last week, Samsung decided to give more time to Galaxy Note7 in South Korea and elected not to entirely kill the remaining 140,000 units in the wild. In a new development today, however, the tech giant seems to have changed its mind and will allegedly be killing said units after all. To quote the official spokesperson:
Samsung is considering to push the software update to the Note 7 in Korea that can limit the battery charge of the device as the exchange rate has exceeded 90 percent here Now, the statement does mention “limit”, however, since Korean units did already receive the initial preemptive update, capping the charge to 60%, the most likely escalation would naturally be killing the devices – a process already underway in many other markets.
The OTA will likely hit SK Telecom units first, with other carrier, like KT and LG Uplus expected to follow soon. To accommodate the new measures to some extent, Samsung has also extended its exchange or return program until the end of Janu..

Unreturned Samsung Galaxy Note7 units in South Korea won"t be killed this year

Unlike in the US, Samsung has no plans to kill off un-returned Galaxy Note7 units in South Korea this year, according to a new report. The tech giant might instead roll out another battery limiting update in the country, similar to the one it has pushed out in Europe.
So far, around 85% of the total number of Galaxy Note7 units sold in South Korea have been returned. However, the remaining 15% still translates into around 140,000 units, which is quite a big number.
Citing industry sources, the report says Samsung may face strong backlash from users if it kills off the remaining units soon, adding that the firm may wait until the return rate hits 95%.

Korea DPR into final as USA sunk in extra time

© Getty Images Korea DPR are into their third FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup final after a 2-1 semi-final win, though they needed extra time to see off some brave resistance from three-time winners USA. Korea DPR seemed set for victory after a penalty was converted by Jon So Yun early in the second half, only for Natalie Jacobs to equalise in the final minute of an at-times physical encounter.
It was a match featuring lots of intent, but little in the way of attacking cohesion or creativity until the latter stages, though it was Korea DPR who clearly had the better openings. One of USA’s few sights of goal came on the quarter-hour mark as Mallory Pugh burst into the penalty area with a trademark driving run, only to pull her shot wide.
Perhaps the best chance of the half fell to Korea DPR as WI Jong Sim created a yard of space at the top of the penalty area, only to fire her low shot just wide. The Koreans finished the half stronger than the three-time champions and Kim Un Hwa saw her s..
