ZTE exec teases curved display phone

A new teaser has been outed by ZTE, featuring close-up of a smartphone having curved display edges. The teaser image was outed by the Chinese company"s marketing director Lu Qian Hao on Weibo (China"s Twitter).
The text on the image reads: “Goodbye 2016”. In addition, the teaser also wishes us a happy “boundless” new year.
At the moment, there"s no information (not even rumors) on an upcoming curved display ZTE phone, so it"s difficult say anything about the device. But given that the teaser has been officially outed by ZTE, we expect to hear more about the handset in days, or probably weeks to come.

Samsung"s new CH771 is a curved, quantum dot monitor, aimed at gamers and pro users

Samsung is having a few cool monitor announcements lined up for CES 2017. The centerpiece seems to be the CH711. The particular model offers a significantly curved (1,8000R curvature) 2560 x 1440 pixel panel in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes.
Other notable features on the monitor, include a wide 178-degree viewing angle and 125% sRGB coverage. The ergonomics also seem well thought-out, with a stand that can be used for cable management and an optional 90-degree panel rotation for a somewhat awkward vertical curved experience.
Judging by the looks, promotional photos and general description, the CH771 is not exactly a gaming monitor, by design. Sadly, no extra info on response times, refresh tares, inputs or support for gaming-specific features, such as G-Sync or FreeSync has been provided yet, but Samsung promises the panel will be suitable for gamers, as well.

Huawei P10 allegedly coming with dual-curved screen

Rumors about Huawei’s new flagship P10 keep pouring. Earlier this year we reported likely specs and images of the early prototype. According to the Weibo user reviewer_xiaokang the new device will come with dual-curved screen.
Front fingerprinting is also expected in Huawei P9’s successor. Several sources reported back-mounted fingerprint sensor but apparently the Chinese company is aiming for the more conventional user option.

Honor concept phone reportedly coming tomorrow with curved screen, no camera or speaker

The latest outlandish rumor from China claims Huawei has been working on a "concept phone" of its own, wanting to steal some of the spotlight from Xiaomi"s very well received Mi Mix. That"s also supposedly a "concept phone", and Huawei"s device will bear the Honor brand reportedly. This was done so as to not dissuade people from buying the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Mate 9 Porsche Design – those will still be the most impressive Huawei-branded handsets even after this "concept phone" is unveiled, since it"s using the Honor name.

The Lenovo ZUK Edge is coming next week, but we’ve only caught glimpses of it so far.
Here are some live photos with much better quality than some earlier leaks. The “Edge” moniker may suggest a curved screen, but instead ZUK went for very narrow bezels.
