Grab a 32GB iPad Pro 9.7 for just $499.99, $100 off

Apple has long been rumored to unveil some new tablets this spring, but until that happens the iPad Pro 9.7 is still its flagship slate (that isn"t huge). And while it"s incredibly rare to see price drops for Apple mobile devices, today we have such a case.
Best Buy is currently selling the 32GB base model iPad Pro 9.7 for only $499.99. That"s a cool $100 off its normal price, and brings it to the amount Apple used to ask for the 16GB versions of its previous 9.7-inch tablets.
Unfortunately there"s no telling how long this deal will last, so if you"re interested make sure you order as soon as possible. All four colors of the tablet are available at the lower price: silver, gold, Rose Gold, and Space Gray.

Google confirms that it"s launching two flagship Android Wear smartwatches in early 2017

Two reports from a few months ago claimed that Google was working on two high-end smartwatches of its own, which were supposed to debut alongside the Android Wear 2.0 release this year. But then the new version of the company"s wearable OS got delayed until 2017, and so we assumed the launch of the watches was postponed for that reason.
It turns out that"s exactly what happened. Today Jeff Chang, Google"s product manager of Android Wear, has confirmed that the company is developing two flagship smartwatches which will be on the market in the first quarter of next year (so before March 31).
These will be the first devices to launch running Android Wear 2.0, but then throughout 2017 we"ll reportedly see more watches powered by the new OS version, from other partners. Some of those may even present their wearables at CES in January, while others will wait for Baselworld in March.
Google"s watches will not be Pixel-branded as you may have expected, instead they ..

Sony Xperia XZ emerges as top late 2016 flagship after Note7"s demise

Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person? It seems that Sony fans are the former – when Apteligent reported that the canceled and recalled Samsung Galaxy Note7 is still more popular than a number of other prominent flagships, Sony fans focused on the fact that the Xperia XZ is by far the leading late-2016 Android flagship.
This puts it ahead of fan darlings like the Google Pixels, the latest flagship from Android standby Motorola, the feature-loaded LG V20, the controversial-but-liked OnePlus 3T and the heavily promoted HTC Bolt (aka 10 Evo outside the US).
Note: Galaxy Note7 numbers have been excluded An impressive achievement to be sure, it shows that Sony got something right that the others (other than Apple and Samsung that is) did not. Motorola in particular seems to have mucked up, Apteligent data shows that Moto Z shares slipped after Black Friday, showing that flagship from competitors had a bigger draw.
Putting Android aside for a moment, it seems that Apple d..
